Export Audio Drops Out
“My audio is missing or drops out in the exported file.”
Did you mixdown your audio before you exported? Always, always, mixdown your audio before you export any sequence or output to tape.
To mixdown the audio select everything in the sequence Cmd-A and use Sequence>Render Item or the keyboard shortcut Cmd-Opt-R.
In FCP you should always mix down the audio if you nest clips that have audio. If you’re nesting a sequence in another before output, such as for applying a Widescreen, or Broadcast Safe, or Timecode filter, always mixdown both the edited sequence that’s nested and the final sequence in which the nest resides.
